Looking for good fish and chips, without paying for over priced decorations? This small establishment was right behind our hotel, off the main drag. This is an example of "don't judge a book by its cover." Outside looks old, inside is dated, but VERY clean! A mom and pop place; and now the food! Good piece of cod; chips were better than another competitor, and I tried the mushy peas: outstanding! They offer regular gravy or curry gravy for your fries. I saw meat pies and other good stuff. A great find for the end of a long day.
£7.50 gets you fish and chips, mushy peas, bread and butter, and a drink. I substituted curry gravy for bread and butter, and was SUPER happy! Thank you, Derby Supper Bar!! -

Very old fashioned inside. Definately needs an updated refurb. But great value for money. Lovely chips.

Fight through the dodgy area for these good chips. I say good but not amazing. It's extremely dated inside, and not in a good way!
